Leading Attorneys Join Feldman Legal Advisors

Feldman Legal Advisors, PLLC, a New York-based boutique law firm focused primarily on business matters related to the emerging cannabis and psychedelics industries, is pleased to announce the addition of attorneys James Hirsch and Courtney Barnes as Counsel to the firm.

James Hirsch has been a fixture on the New York cannabis scene for a number of years. He has had a long, distinguished career as a corporate lawyer in the natural resources and financial services industries, including at Citigroup Inc., where his practice was global in scope and he advised on the design and administration of numerous equity compensation, non-qualified deferred compensation and other incentive pay plans. He is a well-known investor and advisor in the cannabis industry. James also is an insurance broker affiliated with a major firm that has pioneered solutions for the cannabis industry.

Courtney Barnes, based in Denver and a sought-after speaker and advocate, advises clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, business contracts and strategic operational matters regarding hemp, cannabis, psychedelics and other natural products. She also provides DEA, FDA, and state regulatory compliance guidance to CPG manufacturers, retailers, and ancillary service providers.

The new additions complement the remaining members of the firm’s team, including Gretchen Temeles, Ph.D., focused on intellectual property, and Melissa Greenberg, experienced in cannabis and wellness. The law firm is affiliated with Skip Intro Advisors, LLC, a strategic advisory firm focused on the cannabis and psychedelics spaces.
