The National Cannabis Festival is a music festival that was created in 2015 to celebrate the progress on marijuana legalization in Washington, DC and across the nation. The founders envisioned a festival recognizing the spirit of the cannabis movement and the non-profit groups that have fought for so long to end marijuana prohibition. Headlining artists have included 2 Chainz, Action Bronson, Free Nationals, Cypress Hill, Wiz Khalifa, and more. Scheril Murray Powell, counsel to Feldman Legal Advisors, will be speaking on a panel at the festival: “Beware of predatory practices: negotiation tips and tricks for cannabis industry professionals.”
